Counseling is a way to become more self-aware and learn ways to cope with life’s stressors. When looking for a therapist, it is always advised that you consult with a few different counselors to make sure you feel comfortable with whomever you select. The rapport you build with your therapist is extremely important. You should feel safe and secure enough to share, without feeling judged.
